This happened on Monday this week, and people lost their lives, lost their children, lost their houses in San Ramón in Peru where I went and stayed overnight last summer.
Weather forecast has still warned that more rain is expected in the coming days. I just pray it will diminish.

We have seen lots of pink or orange coloured Epidendrum secundum, however, the white version is quite rare, I was told.

This is Sobralia dichotoma, which I have longed for to see. Very tall. More than 2 metres tall. Might be around 3 metres tall.
